stallsmart.

Saturday, 5:40 a.m. The van is half loaded.

Did you pack enough scones for this market?

Too few and you sell out by ten. Too many and they ride home. StallSmart reads your own sales history and tells you what to bring to each market.

Square tells you what sold. StallSmart tells you what to pack.

What is StallSmart?

StallSmart is farmers market vendor software that helps vendors decide what to pack for each market. It uses a vendor’s sales history to recommend how much to bring to each market and provides a phone-friendly packing checklist. It runs on the web, including iOS and Android via an installable progressive web app (PWA).

Overpack Saturday and it rides home. Underpack and you sell out by ten.

Overpacked Saturdays mean wilted greens, unsold loaves, and money in the compost. Underpacked ones mean an empty table at 10 a.m. and customers walking to the next stall.

Your own sales history already says how much each product moves at each market. StallSmart turns that into a number to pack to, and shows its working so you can overrule it.

Three steps, then you pack.

  1. 1

    Bring your sales

Upload a CSV of past sales, or import from Square. Sales get matched to your products and markets.

  2. 2

    Get a list per market

Each market gets its own Bring List: how many of each product, and the past days it is based on.

  3. 3

    Pack with a checklist

Walk through the list on your phone and tick items off as they go in the van.

Try it: tick items as they go in the van. Every line shows the sales it is based on, so you can overrule it. Nothing to sign up for, nothing leaves your browser.

This is a sample vendor, not a real testimonial. Desert Bloom Farm is a made-up stall; the list is recorded output from StallSmart run on a fixture sales history.

Questions vendors ask

What do I need to start?

First set up your business name, market, and products. Then bring a sales history: upload a CSV export of past sales, or bring in your Square sales. Tell StallSmart which market each sale belongs to, and that is all it needs.

How does it decide how much to bring?

Each line on your Bring List shows the numbers behind it: the average you sold on past days at that market, how many days that is based on, and a confidence level. If there is not enough history yet, it says so rather than guessing.

What does the beta cost?

Nothing. It is free while you are in the beta. When beta ends, you can leave or continue at $20/mo or $200/yr.

Do I need to be at my computer on market morning?

No. The list and checklist are built to be used on your phone, standing next to the van, with one hand free.
